All questions regarding Life Hazard and non Life Hazard; smoke detector and carbon monoxide inspections should be directed to Mr. Walsh.
Sellers must also schedule an appointment with the Fire Official for a Smoke Detector/Carbon Monoxide Detector/Fire Extinguisher Certification (Certificate of Habitability). Appointments should be scheduled at least two (2) weeks prior to closing.
The fees are as follows:
Payments received more than ten (10) business days prior to the change of occupancy is $35.00
Payments received 4 - 10 business days prior to change of occupancy is $70.00
Payments received less than 4 business days prior to change of occupancy is $125.00
NOTE: Change of tenancy also requires a Certificate of Habitability (Smoke Detector/Carbon Monoxide Detector Certification) see details above.
